About The Position

Implement BlackRock Solutions' enterprise investment system, Aladdin, at external clients. Specialize in "AladdinStudio" workflows including interfaces, APIs, Aladdin Tools for Excel, and the Aladdin Data Cloud, owning and managing the interfaces channel within Aladdin Implementations. Provide guidance on interface design, requirement analysis and management of the Data channel across Aladdin implementations. Assist in converting new client data into Aladdin and developing interfaces between Aladdin, external parties, and client in-house systems. Lead client system future state architecture sessions to determine the project’s scope and any potential challenges. Work directly with the client to create necessary plans and trackers and coordinate on project resources and updates. Liaise with relevant client counterparts, including senior technology representatives responsible for supporting the interface channel. Utilize SQL, Unix, Python and Perl to ensure efficient data storage, processing, and transfer via SFTP and APIs. Expand available documentation of Aladdin's interface and API practices. Provide training on interfaces and other parts of the data channel to other implementation team members. Help train any new members to join team. Demo Aladdin tools and investment workflows to clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Financial Analysis, or a related field and two (2) years of experience as an Analyst or a related role.
• Must have two (2) years of experience with: Working with capital markets instruments including equities, fixed income, derivatives and the buy-side investment management process;
• Working with financial and risk assessment-related concepts;
• Utilizing SQL, Unix, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint;
• Implementing and troubleshooting interfaces by scripting code utilizing Perl and Python;
• Utilizing REST APIs leveraging JSON file formats;
• Working with Azure DevOps for file deployment and configuration;
• Financial systems integration using data interfaces and messaging protocols such as sFTP.
