About The Position

Contribute to an experienced team working to build a world-class investment banking practice focused on companies in the healthcare industry. Provide support to senior bankers in a variety of financing transactions, M&A, and healthcare investment transactions. Analyze client business plans, upcoming milestones and financing needs to prepare capital raise consideration materials. Prepare a fully distributed valuation model by computing a list of relevant market comparables. Prepare comprehensive pitch materials for prospective issuers in the healthcare sector based on appropriate deal size, financing structure and market evaluation. Determine market size, product probability of success, and share price appreciation by conducting relevant diligence sessions with Key Opinion Leaders in the healthcare industry. Assist the M&A team as a coverage banking analyst with sell-side modeling using the discounted cash flow method. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or related field (or foreign degree equivalent) and at least 18 months of experience with investment banking, investment analysis or investment accounting.
  • At least 18 months of experience building and analyzing valuation models, including fully distributed valuation models using methods such as discounted cash flow (DCF) and net asset value (NAV);
  • At least 18 months of experience liaising with clients, understanding their needs, and translating them into actionable analysis and presentations;
  • At least 18 months of experience with financial analysis software and tools including Excel and PowerPoint, and databases such as FactSet, CapIQ, QuickBooks or eFront;
  • At least 18 months of experience managing multiple tasks to meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy in financial analysis and documentation;
  • At least 18 months of experience preparing and analyzing clients’ financial statements, understanding clients’ financial performance and providing qualitative commentaries;
  • At least 18 months of experience addressing clients’ diligence requests regarding finance, accounting, and tax matters through quantitative analysis;
  • At least 18 months of experience applying financial transaction knowledge regarding M&A, financing, and capital requirement to daily tasks.
