Job Description: Blackstone’s Solutions Providers Group is responsible for cultivating Blackstone’s enterprise-level relationships with the Solutions Providers community, including consultants, OCIOs and other alternatives solutions providers, all of whom are key advisors to institutional clients. The team is responsible for marketing, fundraising, and ongoing investor relations in support of Blackstone strategies across all asset classes and geographies. The Associate role will be part of the New York based team and support business development efforts across the Solutions Providers team.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in institutional sales, investment banking, investor relations or asset management
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and project management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Highly motivated and resourceful; multi-tasks and focuses on delivering results
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce
  • Series 7 and 63 licenses preferred (required to obtain within first year of employment)
  • Undergraduate degree is required

Responsibilities

  • Supporting new business development, including fundraising, client maintenance, and identifying prospects / new opportunities
  • Assisting with meeting prep and client roadshows
  • Liaising with product specialists and sales teams to drive follow-ups and deliverables
  • Helping develop proposals to meet client objectives
  • Managing internal IOI, client tracking initiatives, and CRM/Salesforce maintenance
  • Preparing presentations and memoranda for senior-level management, including periodic internal reporting updates
  • Assisting with ad hoc requests
