Position Summary Associates provide vital administrative, project, and client support to ensure the smooth execution of day-to-day operations across client engagements. Associates are responsible for logistical coordination, document preparation, and relationship support, and play a key role in ensuring client satisfaction and internal team alignment. This role offers an exciting opportunity for professionals early in their careers to gain hands-on experience in nonprofit consulting while building expertise across our service lines. Associates are encouraged to build skills, deepen expertise, and contribute to the firm’s culture.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of professional experience, ideally in a nonprofit, consulting, or philanthropic organization
  • Ability to form relationships with diverse groups of people
  • Excellent research and computing skills
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a collaborative spirit
  • Demonstrated interest in the nonprofit sector and social impact

Nice To Haves

  • Previous exposure to fundraising and development preferred
  • Experience with Raiser’s Edge and Salesforce is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to internal client teams, including scheduling, drafting materials, and compiling and distributing action items
  • Draft client-facing materials including donor outreach emails, campaign collateral, workplans, dashboards, and reports
  • Conduct initial prospect research
  • Coordinate logistics and material preparation for both internal and external meetings
  • Support milestone tracking and light project management tasks
  • Communicate regularly with team members on client communications and updates
  • Proactively seek opportunities to deepen expertise in fundraising, tools, and internal processes
  • Contribute to the organization beyond client work by supporting teams, joining committees, or helping with practice area initiatives
