About The Position

This role is a critical part of the Asset Management Sales Enablement efforts within the broader Global CSG Sales Enablement group. The Associate will be responsible for collaborating with leaders across the distribution business (including sales, marketing, and product) and partner teams (GSAM Engineering, Operations, etc.) to define and drive the vision for the enablement platform. A primary focus will be on developing and growing a data ecosystem to provide critical reporting and insights to senior management, as well as formulating data models to enhance the field execution of our sales teams. This role involves leading the team's close partnership with GSAM Engineering to deliver on a multi-year roadmap of solutions and tools that will help scale the business and drive profitability. Responsibilities include overseeing data analysis and visualization to extract insights from combined data sets, customer segmentation and targeting modeling, territory analysis, and KPI performance tracking. The Associate will also be responsible for managing and developing the team and the overall initiative, ensuring alignment with business priorities and effective delivery of solutions. This role will strengthen the distribution data foundation, build traditional BI (including visualizations) and advanced analytical solutions, and produce insights that empower business decision-makers.

Requirements

  • Strong expertise in BI and Analytics applications (e.g., Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI, Qlik), Programming (e.g., SQL), and Traditional and Cloud Databases (e.g., MS SQL Server, SingleStore, AWS) is strongly preferred.
  • Self-motivated team player, comfortable working in a dynamic business environment, juggling multiple responsibilities and pivoting to new challenges/priorities as they arise.
  • 4+ years of experience leading Business Intelligence initiatives, ideally in the Asset/Wealth Management space.
  • Experience working with key Asset Management Distribution data (e.g., CRM, Trade Positions/Assets and Flows, third-party opportunity data sets, Marketing Campaign data, Web analytics) preferred.
  • A data-driven, user-centered approach to analysis and data management, with demonstrated ability to deliver information that addresses and anticipates various business user needs.
  • Exposure to and experience with MDM techniques, data governance, and data management is preferred.
  • The ideal candidate has a strong willingness to learn, an ability to leverage technical skills, and a solid understanding of business strategies, priorities, and initiatives.
  • Enjoys problem-solving and facilitating connections between business challenges/opportunities and delivering results.
  • Demonstrates an understanding of multiple databases, data flows, and relationships across various sources.
  • Has a strong ability to build collaborative relationships and communicate effectively with business and IT leaders, project members, and vendors to ensure success.
  • Functional understanding of Salesforce / CRM platforms.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, able to craft unique solutions with limited guidance; proactive in assessing dynamic situations.
  • Fast learner and effective communicator of new and complex information.
  • Ability to adapt to varying workloads and tight deadlines, while maintaining extremely high standards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Prior experience with BI methodology (e.g., descriptive and prescriptive analytical techniques) is preferred.
