About The Position

The Workflow Engineer will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and optimizing complex business processes to achieve operational efficiency and effectiveness. This position requires a combination of technical skills, business acumen, and a deep understanding of workflow systems. The workflow engineer is a subject matter expert and will work with business stakeholders to implement, create, and continuously improve process and integration with other internal business applications through JIRA service management with automation.

Requirements

  • 1+ years experience with Jira.
  • Proven experience in workflow design and implementation, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Proficiency in workflow software, such as JSM, PowerAutomate, Salesforce, Fabric.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex workflow issues.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with JIRA integrations, such as plug-ins, APIs, and webhooks.

  • Languages: JQL, Python, Java.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement efficient business process workflows in line with organizational goals.
  • Map out current processes, identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies, and design optimized workflows in JIRA service management.
  • Work closely with various cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and management, to understand their workflow needs and challenges.
  • Provide necessary training and support to end-users to ensure smooth adoption and operation of new workflow systems.
  • Continually monitor and analyze the effectiveness of implemented workflows, adjusting and improving as necessary.
  • Document all processes, updates, and changes to workflow systems and ensure these documents are easily accessible and understandable to relevant teams.
  • Implement and integrate workflow triggers from various APIs, plug-ins, and webhooks.
