About The Position

The Associate Website Merchandiser plays a crucial role in the Web Merchandising team at Williams Sonoma, focusing on executing online business, merchandising, and marketing strategies for the Pottery Barn Kids brand. Requirements

  • 2-3 years previous eCommerce, catalog, or digital marketing experience.
  • Strong computer skills, including advanced Excel and word processing applications.
  • Interest in the linkage from systems to the web; access database experience is a plus.
  • Strong affinity for the product/concept.
  • Ability to make timely decisions and provide creative solutions.
  • Well-organized and extremely detail-oriented.
  • Proven analytical and business planning skills.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and a changing environment.
  • Action-oriented with energy for challenges.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for reporting findings and collaborating with stakeholders.
  • Ability to present data and insights to non-technical audiences.

  • Strong organizational skills to meet deadlines and manage priorities.
  • Ability to perform work onsite in the San Francisco corporate office.

Responsibilities

  • Manage website merchandising and product discoverability through general site merchandising, navigation, and on-site search optimization.
  • Work with the E-Commerce Manager to develop and implement web merchandising strategy.
  • Manage site content and feedback to enhance overall customer experience across channels.
  • Identify and recommend new site content and experiences based on analytics and customer feedback.
  • Interface with merchandising teams to ensure site data integrity and correct product setup.
  • Coordinate with site managers and e-technology team for timely database uploads and site deployments.
  • Manage database uploads to merchant preview, development, and QA testing environments.
  • Coordinate daily site testing to ensure data integrity.
  • Manage the archiving of website seasonal features and products.
  • Attend and manage the photo process for all new products.
  • Participate in other projects as assigned.
