About The Position

As a Associate Wealth Advisor with experience in income taxation, you will help provide comprehensive wealth management solutions. You will serve as a trusted associate and key support partner, helping to deliver personalized financial strategies that incorporate tax-efficient planning. Your role will focus on strengthening client relationships, contributing to their long-term success, collaborating with advisory teams, and upholding Argent’s client-first culture.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-5 years of relevant wealth management experience
  • Experience with individual, trust and gift tax return preparation is highly preferred
  • CFP designation is preferred; CPA/CFA/JD highly desirable
  • Series 7 License; 65 or 66 licensing
  • Knowledge of income taxation relating to advising HNW and UHNW relationships
  • Familiar with CCH Axcess and BNA Income Tax Planner or equivalent software
  • Willingness and desire to support all facets of wealth management
  • Knowledge of markets across multiple asset classes
  • Team player able to work in a collegial and collaborative environment
  • A commitment to client service, with incredible follow through
  • Unwavering integrity and ethical judgment encouraging trust and accountability in all client and team interactions

Responsibilities

  • Prepare individual and trust tax projections, returns and conduct tax research
  • Support a Lead Advisor in the analyses and preparation of prospective and current clients’ investments, estate and financial plans
  • Participate in detailed client meetings to support the planning process, reinforce client confidence, and ensure alignment with their financial goals
  • Systematically contact clients and prospective clients with relevant information about market updates that may affect their investments
  • Work with Lead Advisor to incorporate strategy for referrals/introductions along with building your own network through fostering relationships with COIs
  • Support business development efforts by helping to cultivate new client relationships in coordination with the advisory team
  • Beginning around February 1st of each year through April 15th, primary focus and role is tax return preparation
  • Each quarter will prepare tax estimates for tax clients
