About The Position
Reporting to the SVP & CNO, the Associate Vice President (AVP), Emergency Services is responsible for leading and providing strategic direction to all Emergency Department's across UF Health Jacksonville, including the Downtown ED, North ED, and all Free Standing EDs (FSEDs). Furthermore, this role is responsible for oversight of the Trauma Program, Rapid Response Team (RRT), Jail Clinic, and the Midline/Access Team. The AVP, Emergency Services, collaborates closely with nursing and senior leadership to develop and execute strategic plans that align with the mission, vision, and values of UF Health Jacksonville across all Emergency Services locations. This role serves as the hospital's primary contact for all ED's across UF Health Jacksonville and is responsible for monitoring their performance and ensuring that desired outcomes are achieved.
