About The Position

Sawmill Animal Hospital, the oldest and most trusted veterinary practice in Jones County, is seeking an experienced Veterinarian to join our established, high-performing team in Laurel, Mississippi. This is a unique opportunity for a confident, skilled DVM who enjoys the balance of medical and surgical cases, values clinical autonomy, and wants to contribute to a deep-rooted practice with generations of loyal clients. This role is best suited for a veterinarian with a strong foundation in general practice and soft tissue surgery.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary degree, or equivalent, from an AVMA accredited university.
• Current DEA License or obtained upon hire.
• Active Veterinary State License.
• USDA Accreditation or obtained upon hire.
• 2+ years of clinical experience in small animal practice.
• Competency in soft tissue surgery and dentistry.
• Excellent client communication and teamwork skills.
