  • Provide high-quality veterinary care to pets.
  • Perform preventive care and wellness exams.
  • Conduct surgeries, including routine and some advanced soft tissue procedures.
  • Manage dental care and radiology services.
  • Oversee chronic condition management and internal medicine.
  • Provide end-of-life care and client support.
  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university or equivalent.
  • Licensure in good standing to practice in Illinois, or the ability to obtain.
  • A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics.
  • Interest in working with exotics or other special skills.
  • Experience in surgery is preferred.
  • Salary is negotiable based on experience, skills, knowledge, abilities and other relevant credentials.
  • Annual salary range for this position is $77,000 to $160,000 based on a 24-40 hour work week.
