Troutman Animal Hospital is seeking an associate veterinarian to join our dedicated team in Troutman, NC, located approximately 30 miles north of Charlotte in the beautiful Lake Norman area. We are open to both new graduates, who will benefit from a tailored mentorship program, and experienced veterinarians looking for a supportive work environment. This position offers the flexibility of full-time or part-time status, with an unlimited earning potential and a generous base salary. We prioritize work-life balance, featuring a four-day work week for full-time employees, daily lunch breaks, and early closing times at 5:45 PM on most days. Additionally, our team works only one Saturday per month and enjoys all major holidays off, allowing for a healthy balance between professional and personal life. As an associate veterinarian at our hospital, you will have the opportunity to practice high-quality medicine without the constraints of corporate structures. Your responsibilities will include performing routine examinations and vaccinations, reviewing medical records with patients and their families, and performing surgeries and dental procedures if you are interested. You will also review exam findings and laboratory results to develop comprehensive treatment plans and educate clients on proper healthcare and nutrition. Our hospital, established in 1985, has maintained AAHA accreditation since 1988 and serves as a full-service facility for canine and feline patients. We are equipped with five exam rooms, a dedicated surgical suite, digital dental and whole-body radiography, in-house analyzers for immediate results, and a reference lab with unlimited test availability. Our experienced technical team boasts low turnover, and the practice is independently owned by a veterinarian who works on-site, fostering a welcoming and collaborative environment.
