About The Position

Associate Veterinarian – Ox Bottom Animal Hospital (Tallahassee, FL) Location: Tallahassee, Florida Position: Full-Time Associate Veterinarian Ox Bottom Animal Hospital, a respected and community-focused small-animal practice in beautiful North Tallahassee, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Associate Veterinarian to join our growing team. Our hospital is known for its high standard of care, friendly environment, and strong relationships with clients and their pets. About Us At Ox Bottom Animal Hospital, we’re committed to providing exceptional veterinary medicine with a personal touch. Our clinic offers a wide range of services including preventive care, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, and chronic disease management. We take pride in maintaining a positive, supportive workplace where collaboration and professional growth are encouraged. We are excited to provide Fear-Free services and to be AAHA-accredited! We are also proudly partnered with our sister clinic, Cumberland Animal Clinic in Havana, FL. Together, our hospitals share a unified mission of compassionate, community-focused veterinary care. Requirements

  • DVM/VMD degree with a Florida veterinary license (or ability to obtain)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A team-oriented mindset with a passion for patient care
  • Dedication to client education and long-term relationships

Nice To Haves

  • Current DEA License preferred but not required
  • USDA Accreditation preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality medical, surgical, and dental care to small-animal patients
  • Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients, focusing on education and trust
  • Work closely with our skilled support staff to ensure excellent patient outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and thorough medical records
