About The Position

Melrose Animal Clinic is an AAHA-accredited practice located in Melrose, MA, a desirable and conveniently situated community less than 10 miles north of Boston. We have a state-of-the-art facility, surpassed only by our state-of-the-heart attitude - and we're growing our team with an Associate Veterinarian! What makes us special? Under the dedicated direction Medical Director, Dr. Gaura Shah, and our Practice Administrator, Michele, we run our animal hospital differently. At Melrose Animal Clinic, You Will Love: Medical and surgical excellence: Seeing a variety of cases including acute and chronic disease patients, as well as routine and advanced surgical procedures - spay/neuter, mass removals, foreign bodies, dental extractions, etc. A high standard of care: Providing client education and preventive care for wellness patients and offering comprehensive treatment options for sick patients. Working with our collaborative, 6 DVM team and skilled support staff in a facility with industry-leading and up-to-date equipment. Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an AVMA accredited university, or equivalent
Active veterinarian license to practice in the state of MA, or license-eligible
Experienced in companion animal wellness and preventive care medicine
A commitment to the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics
