Mixed animal practice - see both small and large animals Work alongside multiple doctors for mentorship and collaboration Close to Atlanta & Athens, Georgia - about an hour between both Durham Veterinary Clinic has proudly served the community since 1938 as a well-established mixed animal practice with a commitment to high-quality care! We are a multi-doctor practice with a team of certified and experienced technicians, creating a resourceful and efficient work environment. We provide care for a diverse range of mixed animal clients, including canines, felines, bovines, and equine. Our hospital is equipped with advanced technology, including digital radiology, a dedicated surgical suite, therapeutic laser, and large animal equipment.
Requirements
- DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA accredited college (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program)
- Active license in good standing to practice in the state in which candidate will be employed (or the ability to obtain a license in that state)
Responsibilities
- Serve patients and clients with a relationship-based approach
- Collaborate and engage with the clinical team and leadership
- Grow relationships within the practice and the Atlanta community
- Encourage the growth of support staff members through our internal LevelUp training program
- Manage a varying caseload, including surgeries and appointments during our open hours
