About The Position

Emergency Pet Hospital of Craven–Carteret is a well-established emergency-only practice dedicated to delivering high-quality urgent medical and surgical care when regular clinics are closed — nights, weekends, and holidays. The hospital emphasizes compassionate patient care, uses modern diagnostics and treatment plans, and works closely with referring veterinarians to ensure continuity of care. The team culture is collaborative and fast-paced, offering broad clinical exposure. The practice type is Emergency, with an average daily patient volume of 10-15 per doctor and a strive for a 3:1 doctor to tech ratio. The case mix is small animal emergency and surgery. Technology and equipment include Digital X-ray, ultrasound, in-house labs, dental suite, and surgical suite. The team culture is described as collaborative, fast paced, and fun. Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited university (required)
