Mentorship and Support : VCA takes pride in helping new veterinarians grow. Newly graduated veterinarians (and current veterinary students) will receive personalized mentorship through our structured 6-month mentorship program within a collaborative environment. Expansive Services : We provide care for companion animals and exotics, with mentorship available for those interested in treating exotic species. Our hospital is equipped with EMR systems, and we’re actively involved in externship programs with local CVT students from vet tech colleges. A Prime Location : Situated just 25 miles south of Chicago, VCA Worth is near scenic forest preserves, offering hiking, fishing, and outdoor activities. The surrounding suburbs, such as Oak Brook and Orland Park, provide ample shopping, dining, and entertainment options. Schedule We offer flexible scheduling options and emphasize work-life balance. Our facility is closed on Sundays. Cases Our practice offers a comprehensive range of primary care, wellness exams, and preventive care services, along with diagnostics and treatments for exotics. The salary range listed is based on a 40-hour work week. This position may also be eligible for other variable pay programs.

Requirements

• A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, from an accredited university or equivalent
• Licensure in good standing to practice in (IL), or the ability to obtain
• A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics
