About The Position
Independence Animal Hospital is proud to serve the Independence, KS area for everything pet-related. Our practice is a full-service mixed-animal hospital and will see routine appointments, surgical cases as well as offer acupuncture services. Our in-house capabilities include digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray, ultrasound, cold laser, indoor stocks, outdoor pen area, hydraulic tilt chute, and an OB chute. Our doctors are supported by our experienced credentialed technicians, assistants, and practice manager. Associate Veterinarian – Join Our Family in Independence, KS Up to $75K Sign-on Bonus! Independence Animal Hospital , a welcoming and well-established two-doctor team, is seeking a full or part time Associate Veterinarian to dive into both companion and farm animal medicine. We provide comprehensive care for pets, livestock, and exotics with compassion and cutting-edge tools. Our clients know us for our thorough, honest care, and our ability to treat everything from a golden retriever to a goat with the same level of dedication. Our services include: Preventive and emergency care Digital radiography & dental X-ray In-house lab and pharmacy Ultrasound and cold laser therapy Indoor stocks, outdoor pen, OB and hydraulic tilt chutes Boarding, dental, and surgical care And yes—we do acupuncture, too! Hours of operation: Monday-Friday 7:30am - 5:30pm, closed on weekends (with after-hours emergency referral partners available)
Requirements
- A DVM (or soon-to-be grad) with a valid license to practice in Kansas
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit
- A love for client education and animal medicine
- An eagerness to make an impact in a close-knit, community-oriented clinic
- Demonstrates professional and courteous presentation consistently with staff and clients
