Willow Ridge Animal Hospital, a CareVet partner, has an exciting opportunity for a part-time veterinarian to join our thriving practice in Loves Park, IL. About Willow Ridge Animal Hospital: At Willow Ridge Animal Hospital, we’re proud to provide compassionate, high-quality veterinary care to the pets of Rockford, Illinois and surrounding areas. Our small animal general practice is home to a dedicated and collaborative team, including two seasoned veterinarians who value teamwork, integrity, and personalized medicine. Our clinic is fully equipped with in-house labs, digital X-ray, dental X-ray, and an in-clinic pharmacy, enabling our doctors to diagnose and treat efficiently while maintaining excellent continuity of care. The Role: We’re seeking an experienced Part-Time Associate Veterinarian to join our team. This position includes extended evening hours a few days per week and some Saturdays, making it ideal for a confident DVM who enjoys working independently and managing a variety of medical and surgical cases. Pay Range: $50,000-60,000 annually, depending on position, location, and experience. Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree required
Licensure in the state/s candidate will be working
Ability to show compassion to both pets and their owners
Outstanding dexterity in handling animals while performing precise tasks
Ability to react quickly and make decisions under pressure about the wellbeing of an animal
Strong fondness and understanding of animals
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of animal behavior
Ability to use medical technologies during diagnosis, research and surgery of animals
