About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Veterinarian to join our team. The ideal candidate is a team-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about animal health and client education. This position involves both medical and surgical responsibilities, with mentorship available for newer graduates.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent from an accredited university
- Active Veterinary State License (or ability to obtain upon hire)
- Current DEA License (or ability to obtain upon hire)
- USDA Accreditation (or ability to obtain upon hire)
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality medical, surgical, and dental care to a variety of companion animals
- Perform physical examinations, diagnose conditions, develop treatment plans, and communicate clearly with clients
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate medical records
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to provide exceptional patient care
- Participate in continuing education and stay current on industry developments
- Contribute to a positive, respectful, and team-oriented clinic culture
- Educate clients on preventative care, wellness, and treatment options
