About The Position

Bissonnet Veterinary Hospital is a thriving, full-service companion animal practice located in the heart of Houston, proudly serving the Upper Kirby District, Rice University, Medical Center, and West University neighborhoods. We’re seeking a passionate, team-oriented full-time Associate Veterinarian to join our dynamic and growing team. We recently moved into a brand-new, purpose-built facility equipped with: Digital radiology & dental radiology Ultrasound Cubex inventory system Cold laser therapy Oversized surgery suite Minor procedure room Double dental suite Six exam rooms, including feline-only spaces Our Culture & Philosophy At Bissonnet, we believe in practicing medicine with compassion, integrity, and empathy. Our appointment structure (30- and 60-minute blocks) allows for meaningful client communication and thorough follow-up care. Meet the Team Our current team includes: 1 Medical Director 5 Associate Veterinarians 16 Veterinary Technicians & Assistants 5 Client Service Representatives 1 Assistant Hospital Administrator 1 Hospital Administrator Collectively, our DVMs bring over 90 years of experience to the table. We’re proud to be a relationship-driven practice with a strong emphasis on mentorship, collaboration, and continuous learning. Hours of Operation Monday–Friday: 7:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Saturday: 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. No weekend or holiday on-call shifts!
