About The Position

Yukon Veterinary Hospital is a well-established, 4- doctor small animal practice in Yukon, Oklahoma. We offer many services to provide the best comprehensive care to our patients, including preventative care, urgent care, surgery, dentistry, laser therapy, ultrasonagraphy, in-house diagnostics, digital radiology, boarding, grooming and more. Located on historic Route 66 in the rapidly growing community of Yukon, Yukon Veterinary Hospital is just minutes from Oklahoma City. The public schools are highly rated, and the town is in the top three safest cities in the state, making Yukon an ideal place to raise a family. Yukon also has a very active social calendar with numerous downtown events happening throughout the year. Treat each pet individually to minimize stress, anxiety or discomfort. Stay up-to-date with innovative and emerging veterinary medications, procedures, treatments, protocols and equipment. Collaborate and function as a team within the hospital. Help to continue developing the support team. Treat every client like family and each patient like their own pet.

Requirements

  • Full Time OR Part Time Veterinarian
  • Compassionate, Team Player and Strong Communicator
  • Proficient in general medicine and surgery
  • Doctor of Veterinary degree, or equivalent, from an AVMA accredited university
  • Current DEA License or obtained upon hire
  • Active Veterinary State License
  • USDA Accreditation or obtained upon hire
