About The Position

Ft. Harrison Veterinarians is seeking a skilled Associate Veterinarian to join and practice alongside our currently DVM in Lawrence, IN. Located on the historic site of the former Fort Harrison U.S. Army Base, our practice is part of a thriving, up-and-coming community with exciting developments and amenities. Harrison Veterinarians has been a trusted name in the community, providing exceptional care to loyal clients and their pets. Our team is proud of its longevity, with several staff members having been with us for over 10, 20, and even 30 years. We combine a small-clinic feel with the advanced technology and capabilities of a larger practice, offering full-body x-ray and new dental x-ray systems, new Integra ultrasound and a full suite of Idexx in-house lab equipment, a new dental unit and surgical laser, and paperless records with a cloud-based software system. This is a fantastic opportunity for a veterinarian who’s passionate about surgery and eager to be hands-on with a high volume of procedures that aren’t just spays and neuters. We’re looking for someone ready to dive in, work collaboratively with our current DVM and team, and help grow the practice with a flexible, team-oriented mindset. Ft. Harrison Veterinarians is home to a skilled, supportive team and an experienced practice manager. Requirements

  • DVM degree from an accredited veterinary school
  • State veterinary license in good standing
  • Passion for surgery and hands-on procedures
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
