About The Position

VCA Beavercreek Animal Hospital is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to complement our talented team in Beavercreek, Ohio. Current students or new graduates, apply today! We are looking to expand our family of doctors! We are a full service companion animal hospital committed to providing quality veterinary care. Our team is committed to providing personal attention to each of our clients and delivering quality medicine to our patients. Our services and facilities are designed to assist in routine preventative care for young, healthy pets: early detection and treatment of disease as a pet ages: complete medical and surgical care as necessary during a pet's lifetime. We provide a wide range of surgical services from routine to more complex procedures. Beavercreek is fully equipped with digital radiology, digital dental radiology, companion laser therapy and have an onsite laboratory to run timely analysis of samples to establish a baseline for early disease detection. We see a variety of patients including cats, dogs, reptiles and exotics! Beavercreek is a suburb of Dayton, Ohio, located on the eastern side of the metropolitan area. The area is characterized by a spacious rolling environment providing a very attractive setting for the residential neighborhoods. Beavercreek is considered to be among the most attractive, dynamic and desirable locations in the Dayton area with an outstanding quality of life. Our hospital is in close proximity to WPAFB, Fairfield Mall, The Greene, Dayton International Airport and nearby cities Cincinnati and Columbus.

Requirements

  • DVM or equivalent veterinary degree.
  • Current students or new graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated and confident.

Responsibilities

  • Provide quality veterinary care to companion animals.
  • Assist in routine preventative care for young, healthy pets.
  • Conduct early detection and treatment of diseases as pets age.
  • Perform complete medical and surgical care as necessary.
  • Utilize digital radiology and dental radiology for diagnostics.
  • Conduct timely analysis of samples in the onsite laboratory.
  • Communicate effectively with clients regarding pet care.
