About The Position
Join Our Team and Elevate Your Career! North Boulder Companion Animal Hospital is seeking a dedicated and experienced Veterinarian to become a part of our thriving team. Located in the heart of Boulder, CO, our hospital is known for its commitment to exceptional animal care and our supportive, collaborative environment. We care for dogs, cats, and exotics, providing a wide range of experiences and challenges. Our facility is equipped with an in-house Abaxis lab, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, laser surgery unit, and cold laser, allowing us to offer advanced medical capabilities. You will have the opportunity to utilize the services of board-certified surgeons and radiologists for specialized care, ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of medical attention. As a veterinarian at North Boulder Companion Animal Hospital, you will be part of a well-established practice with an affluent clientele who trust and follow our medical recommendations. This enables us to practice the highest level of medicine. Our medical director and founder, Dr. Sue Patton, established the hospital in 1993, and under her guidance, we've built a collaborative environment with a well-trained support staff, including certified and soon-to-be-certified veterinary technicians. Our team includes four technicians and ten veterinary assistants, ensuring comprehensive support during appointments and surgeries. We are looking for a veterinarian with at least two years of experience who enjoys seeing appointments and performing soft tissue surgeries and dentistry. The ideal candidate should be comfortable treating the occasional exotic pet (approximately 5% of caseload) and value a collaborative and supportive work environment.
