About The Position
The Animal Clinic of Kearney in Kearney, Missouri is seeking an experienced Associate Veterinarian to join our dedicated team. This position is ideal for those who are either seasoned Medical Directors or aspiring veterinarians looking to explore leadership opportunities within a supportive environment. Our clinic is a full-service AAHA Accredited small animal hospital, committed to providing the highest standard of medical and surgical care. We offer a comprehensive range of services, including preventative care, surgeries, dental care, and specialized treatments such as orthopedic surgery, ultrasound, dermatology, and more. We pride ourselves on our collaborative and mentoring atmosphere, where our talented support team plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional care. The clinic is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including a fully equipped dental unit with digital dental radiography. Our practice consists of 3.5 doctors, ensuring that each veterinarian has the support of certified technicians during surgeries. We are dedicated to fostering a learning environment, particularly for those interested in leadership roles. Our year-long Leadership Development Program is designed to enhance both business acumen and soft skills, preparing our veterinarians for future leadership positions. The ideal schedule for this position is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8 AM to 5:30 PM, with no on-call responsibilities. We are looking for candidates with an active Missouri Veterinary License, a teamwork mentality, and a willingness to engage in our leadership training program. This program includes training at our home office, weekly personal development meetings, and focuses on essential skills such as communication, management styles, and financial literacy.
