About The Position

Belvedere Veterinary Center is a full-service animal hospital located in Baltimore, MD just south of Towson, MD. We believe that pets enhance our lives- we are here to do the same for them. At BVC, every patient is unique. We believe that working collaboratively with owners to build customized plans for each pet will lead to longer, healthier lives. With high quality care and service, we are here to meet the needs of our clients' pets. The clinic is just south of Towson, Maryland. The surrounding area is filled with opportunities for outdoor recreation and quickly becoming an entertainment and cultural hub for the East coast. We have the awesome Maryland Zoo (where we have hosted several team events!) and the National Aquarium. Baltimore loves its Orioles (baseball) and Ravens (football). Requirements

• Degree in Veterinary Medicine from an AVMA accredited institution.
• Valid MD state veterinary license or the ability to obtain one.
• Excellent clinical and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting.
• Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment to providing high-quality veterinary services, client education, and preventive care.

Nice To Haves

• Special interests in specific areas of veterinary medicine.
• Desire to avoid certain procedures if not comfortable.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical duties like exams, diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients' health over time.
• Provide excellent client education.
• Work collaboratively with the team to avoid burnout and support each other.
• Participate in monthly doctor meetings and quarterly doctor dinners.
• Discuss cases or treatment options with team members.
