Whirlpool Corporation is looking for a talented Associate UX Designer to join our Global User Experience Design organization. Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
6+ months of UX work experience

Nice To Haves

Basic knowledge of UX/UI fundamentals, usability, and accessibility principles
Familiarity with Figma and an understanding of design systems
Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills
Ability to problem-solve and think critically while supporting design projects

Responsibilities

Participate in the design and development of intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for Whirlpool's connected home appliances and services.
Work closely with visual designers, motion designers, engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand user needs and co-create innovative solutions.
Clearly communicate design decisions and rationale through wireframes, flow diagrams, storyboards, mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes.
Advocate for the needs of users throughout the design process and ensure their perspectives are considered in all decisions.
Assist in the planning and execution of user research activities, such as user interviews, usability testing, and surveys.
Help build and maintain consistent and scalable design systems across Whirlpool's various brands.
Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in the IoT space, such as voice UIs, AI, and the Internet of Things.
