About The Position

Our Middle Market business focuses on mid-sized clients in the Commercial P&C market. Our Multinational team provides foreign package and controlled master program solutions to US based multinational companies. You will help build our Middle Market Multinational offering in conjunction with US Middle Market business. You will work cross-functionally to provide seamless worldwide property & casualty coverage for outward international risks. You will manage and grow a profitable book of new business delivering best-in class Underwriting” service to your clients supporting the positive image of the company.

Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of Middle Market Multinational underwriting or underwriting support experience.
  • Proven organizational and desk management skills.
  • Collaborative team player who provides creative solutions and ideas for resolution.
  • Basic presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
  • An introductory level of critical thinking, decision making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility to travel within assigned territory.
  • A bachelor’s degree is required.

Responsibilities

  • Underwrite new and renewal multinational business for assigned brokers.
  • Experience in underwriting / executing foreign packages and international controlled master programs
  • Support building internal strategies and guidelines on foreign package and controlled master programs.
  • Experience in global network management and existing knowledge related to local market standards in various countries (good local standard)
  • Ability to support and stand up a process while assisting with the development of new international products/coverages
  • Adhere to underwriting guidelines, underwriting authorities and referral requirements as needed to Underwriting Manager, Chief Underwriting Officer, and Product Team.
  • Ensuring high quality service standards and compliance with all internal audit guidelines.
  • Working collaboratively in a team environment, assisting underwriters, underwriting assistants and management team.
  • Cross-sell across Middle Market business unit to maximize deployment of AXA XL’s capital.
  • Travel throughout the territory for broker, client, and internal meetings.
  • Acting as a representative of the company and our agents by attending internal/external company functions, agent sponsored and industry events.
