Practice areas include Statewide Strategy and Planning, Regional Strategy and Planning, Asset Management, and Resiliency & Sustainability. We are looking for an Associate Analyst to join our Asset Management Practice. The Asset Management Practice supports State DOTs, transit agencies, and other public-sector owners in strengthening how they plan for, manage, and invest in infrastructure assets. Our work includes Transportation Asset Management Plans (TAMPs), performance management and target setting, lifecycle cost and risk analysis, deterioration and reliability modeling, data governance and management systems, and the development of analytical tools and dashboards that support maintenance and capital decision-making. This is a hands-on technical role for a motivated Analyst with a strong foundation in transportation asset management and applied analytics. The Associate Analyst will play a central role in executing and delivering asset management analyses, models, tools, and technical products, while also contributing to project management, client interaction, and proposal development. The Associate will contribute to projects such as: Transportation Asset Management Plans (TAMPs); asset performance target setting and needs assessments; lifecycle cost analysis (LCCA) and investment tradeoff analysis; deterioration, reliability, and risk modeling; analytical tools, dashboards, and decision-support applications. They will perform data processing, exploratory data analysis, and statistical modeling using agency asset, condition, and performance datasets. They will also translate technical analysis into clear, defensible findings and well-crafted technical memoranda, reports, and presentations. They will also apply sound professional judgment when working with incomplete, imperfect, or inconsistent data. They will take responsibility for products delivered to clients and take pride in deliverables that reflect well on the clients and on Cambridge Systematics. The Associate Analyst will also help train, manage and mentor junior staff to deliver work products on time and within budget.
