About The Position

New U Therapy Center & Family Services is a well-established multidisciplinary mental health practice located in Torrance. We are passionate about providing high-quality care to our local community and are seeking dedicated and motivated Associate Psychotherapists to join our growing team! We are looking for more talented Associate Therapists to join us as we expand our services and continue to serve our community effectively. Requirements

  • Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, or a related field.
  • ACSW, AMFT, APCC.
  • Completion of at least 1,000 post-graduate clinical hours toward licensure.
  • Strong commitment to building therapeutic relationships and achieving meaningful outcomes for clients.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • A desire to grow within a group private practice and remain with us after licensure.

Responsibilities

  • You will typically be assigned 30 patient sessions per week but must maintain a minimum caseload of 25 patient sessions per week.
  • Help clients set meaningful goals and work toward measurable outcomes.
  • Diligently track clients’ progress and serve as an accountability partner.
  • Complete clinical documentation in a timely and legally compliant manner.
  • Actively participate as a positive and collaborative member of the clinical team.
