About The Position

Requirements

• Master of Social Work degree or a related Behavioral Health master's degree from an accredited institution.
• Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (California) OR Registered Associate Clinical Social Worker (California) OR Associate Professional Clinical Counselor Registration (California).
• Must work a schedule that accumulates at least half of the required supervisory hours annually after hiring.
• Must obtain state licensure within 2.5 years of hire.

• Ability to conduct couples, family, group, and independent therapy.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial interviews with members to understand their psychological and social needs.
• Provide professional recommendations for therapy or counseling based on member presentations.
• Deliver clinical case management services to various age groups, selecting appropriate treatment modalities.
• Offer immediate guidance and therapeutic services during emotional crises or psychiatric emergencies.
• Maintain written records of therapy sessions and prepare necessary reports and correspondence.
• Provide telephone counseling and resource information to members.
• Participate in departmental projects and activities, including Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives.
• Deliver psycho-education to members as part of prescribed treatment.
