Requirements

• Associate degree or higher preferred
• Lithium ion battery test experience preferred
• Lab or test equipment experience preferred
• Meticulous attention to detail and ability to multi-task
• Good communication and analytical capabilities
• Requires Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
• Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Set up, manage and drive to completion various battery testing projects, primarily on lithium ion batteries
• Proficiently use various lab equipment such as power supplies, multimeters, data loggers, and temperature chambers
• Manage and oversee multiple projects simultaneously
• Use test procedures, schematics, or provided documentation to execute testing
• Communicate directly with engineers to ensure a high level of technical support
• Compile test results and support test report development
• Support technical root cause analysis and resolution of issues found during testing
• Perform simple fabrication/modification of basic test fixtures
• Actively participate in laboratory housekeeping and safety (5S)
