Your job scope will include: Build and qualify next-generation chemical metrology tools. Read and interpret schematics and electrical drawings. Test and troubleshoot using diagnostic equipment, including test programs, signal generators, oscilloscopes, and specialized test apparatus. Partner with the engineering team to bring new products into manufacturing. Act as a two-way conduit of information between design teams, tech support, and field teams. Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills. Redline and help update documentation, including assembly and test procedures. Assist with training new team members and transferring knowledge to production. Travel to domestic and international beta sites to support new tool installations/upgrades and provide escalation support for new products.

Requirements

  • Practical Engineer or B.S degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electronics Engineering.
  • Experience troubleshooting down to the component level is required.
  • Ability to travel up to 35% to support customers worldwide.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in various engineering areas such as Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Equipment, Systems, or related fields.
  • Broad technical system vision.
  • Proficient in English, including reading and writing technical reports, procedures, and drawings.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to work collaboratively.
  • Willingness to work overtime, including day or night shifts and weekends.
  • Requires a minimum of 4 - 6 years of related experience
