About The Position

The Associate Territory Sales Representative supports overall territory growth by assisting with new business development, outbound prospecting, and customer engagement activities. This role requires a motivated and organized individual who can perform high‑volume outreach—including at least fifty cold calls per day—while helping to build and maintain strong customer relationships. The Associate Territory Sales Representative will work both independently and in partnership with the Territory Sales Manager to identify opportunities, generate leads, and contribute to expanding the customer base within the assigned market.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business‑to‑business sales experience.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of direct B2B sales experience, including cold‑calling and prospecting.
  • Ability to travel (approximately 1–2 days per week).
  • Strong interpersonal skills to ensure excellent internal and external customer service.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Self‑starter with strong initiative and a collaborative mindset.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently.
  • Strong organizational, investigative, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Demonstrates dependability, punctuality, and strong attendance.
  • Able to work independently while also partnering effectively with team members.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience selling to corporate risk or finance departments is highly beneficial.
  • Insurance background preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Establish productive, professional relationships with new customer accounts.
  • Conduct a minimum of 50 outbound cold calls/email per day to identify and qualify new business opportunities.
  • Research, solicit, and develop new prospect leads within assigned territories.
  • Assist with managing and growing the sales pipeline through consistent follow‑up and lead management.
  • Support negotiations and contribute to closing new customer agreements.
  • Perform market research to identify emerging opportunities and potential customer segments.
  • Provide timely, solutions‑oriented support that aligns with client needs.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of all sales activities within CRM systems.
  • Participate in sales meetings, presentations, and training activities as required.
