The Associate Territory Manager (ATM) provides field‑level clinical and technical support to physicians, clinicians, and hospital staff within BD’s Surgical Solutions portfolio, including Infection Prevention and Biosurgery technologies. This role partners closely with Territory Managers and Regional Business Managers to support sales objectives through case coverage, education, and execution of regional business plans. The ATM position is structured to develop the competencies required to assume full responsibility of an open territory as a Territory Manager.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Ability to travel up to 70%.

Responsibilities

  • Provide in‑OR support, guidance, and troubleshooting for BD surgical products.
  • Support physicians, nurses, and OR staff during surgical procedures involving BD infection prevention and biosurgical products.
  • Deliver high‑quality clinical in‑services , staff education, and new‑product onboarding.
  • Partner with the Territory Manager to prioritize accounts, procedures, and training opportunities.
  • Support execution of business strategies aligned to territory and regional objectives.
  • Manage inventory‑related tasks and administrative responsibilities as assigned.
  • Conduct surgeon, staff, and hospital training programs.
  • Support regional physician proctor activities and centers‑of‑excellence initiatives.
  • Assist in the execution of BD‑sponsored programs, clinical education events, and trade shows.
  • Maintain accurate account documentation, activity logs, and required reporting.
  • Ensure all promotional materials, demo kits, and product samples are organized and compliant.
  • Complete all Workday, compliance, quality, and training modules by assigned deadlines.
