About The Position
This position is physically located at the Joint Operations Center in Sacramento, CA. As directed by the Supervisor of the Wireless Communication Engineering Unit, the incumbent will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the Department of Water Resources (DWR) State Water Project (SWP) wireless network and communication systems. Responsibilities include engineering, installation, and support of the following systems and networks: Two-Way Radio, low voltage, and Fiber Optic Systems, Microwave, Wireless, and Packet-Switched Networks.
