We're seeking a future team member for the role of Associate, Technology Service Desk/On-Site Support Analyst II to join our Technology Services Group. This role is in Lake Mary, FL or Pittsburgh, PA. (3 days in office required).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or at least 5 years of equivalent work experience required
  • 2-5 years of experience in technical and customer-support required
  • Experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus
  • Experience using SCCM, Microsoft Windows 11, Remote access and VPN support
  • Hardware experience including break fix of laptops and desktops, upgrading of memory, hard drives, system boards and an understanding of PC fundamentals

Nice To Haves

  • Microsoft certifications are a plus but not required

Responsibilities

  • Manage break fix of hardware (laptops, monitors, mice, keyboards) for BNY associates
  • Troubleshoot issues (VPN, slowness, installations), ship equipment per requests and assist associates as required
  • Provide support to all IT-related activities and initiatives using established procedures, including guidance and assistance which includes coordination
  • Have an intermediate level of troubleshooting knowledge to support the primary products and services used by the end user employee base
  • Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues, remote admin tools, Internet connectivity and Microsoft operating systems and office suite
  • Contribute to the achievement of team objectives
