This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities. Passion for our mission and vision is required! Shift details: This position is for the B shift, Monday – Thurs (3:30pm-2:00AM) .

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Experience in at least three of the following: Some experience with hand tools and assemblies.
  • Ability to work from written work instructions.
  • Work collaboratively with teams.
  • Communicate clearly and appropriately.
  • Basic computer skills such as Windows, Microsoft Office, etc.
  • Physical requirements include climbing ladders/stairs, working in small/confined spaces, performing repetitive work (lifting items up to 50 lbs ), and working at elevated heights.

Responsibilities

  • Help with the setup of new production work areas to include tooling and equipment.
  • Capable of operating material handling equipment including forklifts , fork trucks, and other ground support equipment as required.
  • Helping with continuous improvement projects for area safety and efficiency.
  • Perform routine functions such as daily clean-up of work areas, support 5S activities , and eliminate FOD (Foreign Object Debris).
  • Ability to move parts and tooling from one work center to another.
  • Ability to work off-shift, extended hours, overtime, and weekends if/when necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.
