Höganäs in North America is seeking an Associate Technical Service Engineer to work at our Hollsopple, PA plant. This position is responsible for market support by performing investigations on customer supplied materials and components, writing detailed reports and organizing the preparation of technical presentations. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Performs all aspects of metallography, mechanical property generation, and powder analysis. Supports activities related to new product introduction. Communicates results with Technical Service, Sales, Production, and Quality Management. Operates, understands, maintains, and troubleshoots test equipment. Develops work instructions and forms for management system. Maintains a safe working environment for themselves and others. Actively exhibits leadership capabilities in all aspects of their work. Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Material Science, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering. Previous internship experience in a related field is preferred. Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office and other programs as required. Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate information is required.
