About The Position

Associate Technical Designer JOB SUMMARY: The Associate Technical Designer will assist in measuring, fitting, and grading product to create a finished technical package for factory direct programs. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONBILITIES: The below listing of essential functions is not an inclusive listing of all duties that may be requested to be performed by supervisor or manager. Create technical packs based on direction given during handoffs from the design and buying teams. Assist with evaluating development samples to ensure construction, fit, and material standard specifications are met. Assist with updates to tech packs. Communicate issues related to quality and fit with overseas factory partners and internal stakeholders. SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist with product quality audits. Strong organizational skills. Detail oriented Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s Degree in Technical Design or related field preferred, or 5+ years of technical design experience is required. Minimum of 1 year of progressively responsible experience in technical design or a related field, is preferred. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Work is generally sedentary, with no specific need for physical coordination or effort. The employee is regularly required to talk or hear. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. May require physical effort associated with using the computer to access information, or occasional standing, walking, lifting needed to carry out everyday activities. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift supplies of up to 25 pounds. Some travel may be required
