Responsible for working with the Design, PD, and Merchandising teams to understand deliverables and meet deadlines for creating and passing product specs for all stages of development - concept through production.

Requirements

  • strong communication and email skills
  • detailed note taking & organizational skills
  • construction knowledge preferred
  • flexibility to work in-office, as needed, based on development calendar
  • minimum 2-4 years experience
  • college degree in fashion design or a related field
  • illustrator and photoshop experience required

Nice To Haves

  • Substance 3D experience a plus
  • Raspberry AI, Adobe Firefly AI, or other product Design AI experience a plus
  • Microsoft Excel experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Proto rounds - work collaboratively with the designer to ensure that all specs created reflect the intentions of that designer.
  • Ensure accuracy of all information captured in specs by self-checking sketches & dimensions.
  • Final Bulk Pass Off - Assist Tech Designer & Sr Tech Designer in executing final product spec updates and corrections for that season, ensuring that any and all changes to the product after market are approved by the design team.
  • Assist in making sure that product specs are consistent across all factories and all seasons.
  • Assist in the review and correction of post-market samples.
  • Assist in the creation & maintenance of digital Design detail & standards libraries
  • Assist in research of product functionality trends across market
  • Assist in CAD & artwork creation in Illustrator & Photoshop, as needed
