About The Position

The Department of Chemical & Biological Engineering at Villanova University invites applications for the position of Associate Teaching Professor. Villanova is a Catholic university sponsored by the Augustinian Order. Primary responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in chemical engineering, and teach them to successfully do research that leads to high quality publications, allowed patents, and external support. Other duties include development of new educational material, dissemination of new knowledge, curriculum review and assessment, participation in academic advising, engaging in laboratory development, participation in departmental and institutional functions, such as department meetings and committee work.

Requirements

  • Applicants should have a PhD in Chemical Engineering or a closely related field.
  • Teach undergraduate and graduate students to successfully do research that leads to high quality publications, allowed patents, and external support.
