About The Position

WHAT YOU'LL DO Support head teachers to develop and teach engaging, creative curriculum and lessons, aligned with Avenues expectations and approach Collaborate closely with a team of English, Chinese and Spanish immersion teachers to continually improve student learning and school culture Participate actively in ongoing professional learning Help to build a robust learning atmosphere that leads students to value being at school and feel part of a joyful community Foster strong relationships with families and parents

Requirements

• Student teaching or equivalent experience with children ages 3-5
• Deep dedication to learning and developing the craft of teaching
• Superb ability to collaborate with colleagues to achieve goals
• Curiosity and humility, to reflect, welcome feedback, and continually grow in teaching practice
• Bachelor’s degree required

Nice To Haves

• Master’s candidates in early childhood or bilingual education strongly preferred
