Positions are located in the the following offices: Cerritos, Diamond Bar, Glendale, Irvine (moving to Santa Ana in summer 2025), San Diego and Ventura. We are recruiting for Associate Tax Auditors. You must meet the requirements for the classifications. See below. To qualify for an Associate Tax Auditor you must meet the following requirements: Associate Tax Auditor, Board of Equalization Series and you must either a) take the respective exam or b) must have previously worked for CDTFA as an Associate Tax Auditor. Associate Tax Auditors meet with taxpayers and their representatives, explain audit findings, and prepare audit reports and written correspondence to taxpayers. Travel is required at least 50% of the time, out-of-state, which includes overnight travel.
