The Associate, Systems Engineer will perform operational analysis and develop concept of operations, design and implementation plans. The role involves developing test plans, procedures, and cases, conducting tests, and documenting results. The engineer will utilize software tools, scripting, and software/hardware troubleshooting to analyze systems requirements from end systems and users. Additionally, the position supports the development and evaluation of complex system designs and architectures, and requires the ability to develop and deliver presentations to communicate design activity plans and status to internal and external customers.

  • Perform operational analysis and develop concept of operations, design and implementation plans

  • Conduct tests and document results
  • Use software tools, scripting and software/hardware troubleshooting
  • Analyze systems requirements from end systems and users
  • Support development and evaluation of complex system designs and architectures
  • Develop and deliver presentations to communicate design activity plans and status to internal and external customers
  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in systems engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Aviation, Aerospace Engineering, or related field
  • Completed Bachelor’s degree within the last 12 months, regardless of age
  • Coursework and/or experience in systems engineering, systems architecture, systems analysis and design, system performance modeling, integration and/or project management, and/or model-based systems engineering
  • Familiar with Rhapsody
