About The Position

Shamrock Trading Corporation is looking for an Associate Systems Administrator to join the End User Computing team. This role involves managing the M365 environment, including Exchange Online, Intune, SharePoint Online, Teams, Azure Active Directory, and OneDrive for Business. The Associate Systems Administrator will manage user identities and access, ensuring secure provisioning and de-provisioning processes. Responsibilities also include implementing and maintaining security measures, threat protection, and data loss prevention tooling, as well as administering workstations, print servers, and backup services. The position requires performing workstation patching for both Windows and Mac endpoints, utilizing the workstation imaging process, and ensuring it is updated with drivers, updates, and changes as necessary. The role also involves working with vendors for 3rd party app troubleshooting, triaging issues, performing root cause analysis, and staying educated on the latest relevant technologies. The Associate Systems Administrator will consistently follow organizational policies and participate in the development of documentation, as well as take part in an on-call rotation.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in a technical field or evidence of exceptional ability.
• Ability to function and quickly grow skillset in a systems administration role focused on end user computing.
• Basic understanding of Windows profile management, group policy, folder redirection, Windows registry, and other core operating system technologies.
• Experience with Windows 11 troubleshooting.
• Ability to quickly learn to maintain and update existing PowerShell scripts.
• Ability to quickly learn and operate in an M365 and Azure Entra ID environment.
• Ability to implement technology according to strong security guidelines.
• Basic understanding of networking principles.
• Ability to gain fundamental level Microsoft certification.
• Must possess initiative and analytical skills to resolve issues before they become critical.
• Must possess strong people skills and the ability to work as a team member, collaborating and partnering with others to address issues.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English, verbally and in writing.
• Able to adapt to changes in a dynamic work environment.
• Must have a propensity for knowledge gathering and sharing.
• Must be self-motivated, able to respond quickly when on-call, willing to work outside core area.
• Must possess a passion for technology and take initiative to stay educated on the latest and most relevant technologies and methodologies.
• Excellent prioritization and time management skills.
