About The Position

Trinity School, a co-educational, K-12 institution located on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, seeks a full-time Associate Systems Administrator beginning February 2, 2026. The Associate Systems Administrator is a member of the Technology Department and reports to the Chief Information Officer. The position is primarily responsible for assisting with the maintenance and support of the school's owned devices and related systems to ensure reliable access to technology resources for the community.

  • One or more current technical certifications (e.g. CCNA, MCSA, MCSE, Security+) is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assist System Administrator with designing, deploying, and managing automation scripts for user lifecycle management (onboarding/offboarding) across Active Directory and Google Workspace
  • Assist System Administrator with developing, testing, and maintaining master operating system images and policy configurations within JAMF Pro and Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune)
  • Provides Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for help desk tickets; assists with troubleshooting hardware, software, printing, and network connectivity issues
  • Escalates complex issues to the Systems Administrator after initial diagnostics
  • Helps to maintain system backups and assists with disaster recovery protocols under supervision
  • Aids in maintaining accurate documentation for infrastructure configurations and Standard Operating Procedures
  • Researches new technologies, provides recommendations to the System Administrator, and supports their implementation
  • Performs routine preventative maintenance on systems and hardware as directed
