IonQ is developing the world's most powerful full-stack quantum computer based on trapped-ion technology. IonQ is at the forefront of this technological revolution. We’re looking for an Associate System Operator- Resilience Engineering and Operations for our state-of-the-art quantum computers that are based on trapped ion technology. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team whose mission is to operate and improve IonQ’s industry-leading quantum computers. Recent graduates in physics and related fields are encouraged to apply; we will train you in quantum computer operation. You will work onsite at our facility with the option to work remotely. This position involves participation in a global, follow-the-sun on-call rotation that includes evenings, nights, and weekends. Shift schedules will vary and are coordinated between the US and Switzerland-based teams.
