Responsible for sustainment program support to include integration, comprehensive logistics, sustainment plan creation and support requirements for the lifecycle of the product. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. May serve as the point of contact for logistics with the customer and provide advice or training on system design and specifications. Functions as the internal design interface between support system, concepts and specifications. Performs analysis of the sustainment system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Other analysis may include interface studies, timeline and requirements allocation, effectiveness, verification, cost/risk, and supportability. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Knowledge of product lifecycle management (PLM) and sustainment processes
  • Understanding of configuration management and change control
  • Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) and schedule tracking
  • Ability to understand and maintain technical documentation (maintenance manuals, SOPs, etc.)
